This stat is quite crippling the fact that Mesut Ozil is on a mammoth 350,000 pounds a week!
This means that the talented midfielder has missed 22 top-flight matches since November 2017.
Ozil hit the headlines in February after he missed his 100th Arsenal game since he joined from Real Madrid in 2013.
The 30-year-old pockets £350,000-a-week at the Emirates, but statistics show he is still reluctant to play outside of London.
Since 6 November 2017, he has played just 36 of his side’s 58 games in the Premier League.
And he has only featured in three league games outside of his 100-mile comfort zone.
Ozil played an away match against Manchester City in November 5 2017 but since then in the Premier League has faced just Swansea, Cardiff and Newcastle outside this 100 mile zone.
He hasn’t played outside the zone since September 2018 – over SIX months.
Since that Man City game in November 2017, Arsenal have played 10 Premier League fixtures outside a 100 mile radius of London without Ozil in the squad.

Out of the 20 teams in the Premier League this season, ten stadiums sit outside of his “ozone layer”.
And one of those trips is to Goodison Park – which is where Arsenal will take on Everton this weekend.
The daunting 212 mile trip up north would usually be enough to scare Ozil back to the sidelines, however he is expected to start against the Toffees.
He has found his form in recent weeks and even picked up the Man of the Match award during Monday’s 2-0 win over Newcastle at the Emirates.
