Will Diamond Platnumz’s father be signed under Wasafi Record Label?

Diamond Platnumz father Abdul Juma has opened up about whether he wishes to be signed under his son’s record label WCB.

This comes after he was featured in a song which went viral leading to people asking him whether he wishes to take up music as a career/ business.

Mzee Abdul says that he is not a musician and only did the song ‘Mwewe’ to support the Tanzanian upcoming artists.

Speaking to one of the Tanzanian media, Diamond’s father said that the song is not his own as people had thought but he was just featured to spice it up.

His daughter Queen Darleen says that when she saw the song, it made her laugh for hours even though she is not is good terms with him at the moment.

Queen Darleen says that indeed she had a light moment and it made her forget about the burden that she had.

Diamond on his end saluted him for the song and called him the Big Lion.

Would Abdul Juma accept to be signed under WCB if given the opportunity?Diamond’s father says that since he is not a musician and he still has complications with his legs that might be a challenge.

He added that he is fully aware that it takes more than just music but he would also be required to perform during concerts and he does not think he can keep up with that.

He however says that he would not mind working with his son Diamond ins some of his music projects that he would fit in.

He gave an example of Diamond’s Iyena song that featured Diamond’s mother and he says that it would have been great if he was given the scene to feature in the father’s part.

He however added that he understands that maybe communication was not well executed but next time there is such an opportunity, he would be happy to be involved.
