Fireworks are expected on Thursday when President Uhuru Kenyatta delivers his State of the Nation address in parliament.
It is believed that Uhuru will ask Treasury CS Henry Rotich to step down and pave way for investigations into the Arror and Kimwarer Dams scandal.
Last week, Uhuru visited DP William Ruto at his Harambee Annex office, where he allegedly warned him to expect a massive shakeup in government in the war against corruption. The president told his deputy not to take anything personal.

Ruto has publicly stated that no money was lost in the dams deals, meaning it will be a shock if his boss goes ahead and fires the Treasury CS.
The war against corruption is slowly shaping 2022 politics with politicians allied to Uhuru and Raila asking the DP to step down.
Early last week, Siaya Senator James Orengo promised to introduce a motion of impeachment against Ruto arguing that the country cannot move on with a DP that is mentioned in every corruption scandal.
Since, the famous handshake between Uhuru and Raila, several people allied to Ruto have been charged with corruption cases. The latest one was Samburu governor Moses Kasaine, who was arraigned on Tuesday.
On Sunday, more than 20 lawmakers, from Mt. Kenya and ODM converged at Gatanga Catholic church where they looked to form an alliance that is hell bent on ensuring Ruto will never be President.
“The separation of Dr Ruto from public resources is urgent. Every option must be on the table, including forcing him to resign, a possible impeachment, arrest and prosecution.” ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said during another meeting.
Only time will tell if he can beat them to State House. As at now, the race is tied at 50-50! Who will get the crucial 50+1 threshold?
