“DCI has not yet handed over the investigation file,” new twist in dam scandal emerges from DPP

The Kimwarer and Arror dam project scandal has taken a new twist after DPP denies getting files from DCI.

The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) has contradicted reports that he has received investigation files of the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal from the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Taking it to Twitter, the DPP Kenya pointed out that the DCI has not yet handed over files concerning Arror and Kimwarer scandal.

‘The DPP wishes to inform the public that the @dci_ke has not yet handed over the investigation file in respect to Arror and Kimwarer Dams, investigation is ongoing,” reads the DPP’s tweet.

Noordin Haji added that the Kimware and Arror dam scandal nvestigations are complex in nature and involve various Countries.

He also pointed out that there is a high number of persons of interest who are currently being interviewed and recording statements.

The DPP urge the public to be calm and to wait for the report from the DPP’s office and the DCI.
