Sifuna accused DP Ruto of presiding over the worst plunder of public resources, saying the party will us any option to push the DP out of government.

Sifuna was accompanied by MPs George Aladwa (Makadara), Teddy Mwambire (Ganze), Simba Arati (Dagoretti North) and Timothy Wanyonyi (Westlands).

“People have asked me ODM’s position regarding Orengo’s motion. As ODM, every option that can help separate Ruto from public resources will apply. We will use all means to achieve this including impeachment,” Sifuna said.

The leaders spoke at Kwa Reuben grounds in Nairobi during a rally to campaign for the party’s candidate in the Friday’s Embakasi South by-election.

Aladwa and Mwambire warned leaders allied to DP Ruto against incessant attacks on ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

Yesterday, NASA affiliates ODM and Wiper parties escalated campaigns as the Friday’s Embakasi South mini-poll enters the homestretch.

ODM branded Wiper as being against the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta and our party leader Raila Odinga agreed to shake hands to cool down the political temperature and after the Supreme Court nullified the elections, Jubilee in its wisdom decided not to field a candidate so that we have one compromise candidate,” said Wanyonyi.

Sifuna said ODM will reclaim the seat and urged the residents to turn up in large numbers to vote the ODM candidate Irshad Sumra.

Yesterday, both teams combed the expansive constituency, attending church services to woo voters.

Sumra’s team started their vote hunt at PCEA and Redeemed Gospel Church in Pipeline estate before a major rally at Kwa Reuben grounds.
