In celebration of April Fools Day,many put in effort to try and prank their friends,family and colleagues to the best of their skill.While some worked,some failed terribly.
On clients,Kenyan media decided to pull pranks on their audience with stories that were completely made up.
Amongst the lies was a feature on controversial and popular musician Akothee.
A local free newspaper reported that popular musician Akothee was nominated to Cabinet to head a newly formed Ministry of Culture, that was hived off the Sports docket.
The publication added Akothee would be mandated with making the creative industry a source of employment for the growing number of young people, generate income increase export earnings.
According to feedback from Twitter and Facebook, the hoax was however too outrageous to for people to believe.
The artist has also responded on the publication. “Halafu pale kwa masters of legs, tutaambia watu wa vetting nini sasa,” she questioned.
“Jealous pipo! dont break your neck naaa abeg, 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂 there is enough for everyone , meanwhile , lets go to Turkana 😂😂🤣😂🤣,”shealso stated.
