Kenyans united to refuse more China loans

Kenyans have opposed the government’s plan to secure a multi-billion shillings loan from China for construction of Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).

This is after details emerged that President Uhuru Kenyatta has dispatched senior government officials to China to negotiate for Sh370 billion to finance construction of Naivasha-Kisumu stretch of the SGR.

Kenyans online through a trending hashtag #ChinaInvadingKenya have spilled their disgust in the manner, President Uhuru’s government is in a borrowing spree from China.
