Governor Baba Yao has finally proven that for real he studied in India through how well he can speak their language.
Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, was for a while trolled for allegedly saying he went to study in India which his political rivals said was a lie.
Waititu was a guest on NTV’s Wicked Edition where he cleared the air about the notion that he had never set foot in India.
The first-term governor revealed that he went to India in 1985 and was in the country for three years and eight months.
Waititu further explained that he attended Gobind Singh College which is an affiliate of Punjab University.
“I was there for almost four years. I never came back to Kenya during that time. I was there throughout.
He added that people there rarely speak English and so he was able to grasp the language.
