Three teenage girls from Kibera, Nairobi county may be forced to drop out of school after a 16-year-old boyfriend impregnated them in six months of an illicit relationship.
The minors all of whom are below 16 unknowingly fell in love with a single boy sometimes in 2018 and soon after, they were paged.
In an interview, one of the girls disclosed she met the would-be father of her child during a photo shoot before both of them became love-struck.
” I met him during a photo shoot and from that day we kept in touch with each other. After one and half month, I realized I was heavy. He later denied responsibility when I confronted,” she narrated.
To her utter disbelief, the Form One student discovered she was sharing her boyfriend with two other girls who are now pregnant with one in her second month.
For another victim, 13, her case was different as she did not intend to date since there was no love between her and the suspect but she found herself showered with various gifts and one thing led to the other.
