Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has come out praising Kenyatta University student after disrupting Museveni’s public lecture.
Miguna posted an face terming the action as patriotic despite other leaders calling for the action to be taken against activist Boniface Mwangi who incited the students to riot.
Mwangi termed the Uganda boss a dictator and asked comrades to copy local activist Benji Ndolo who attempted to disrupt his speech at the Nairobi’s Intercontinental Hotel during a past occasion.
“There is one time Benji Ndolo attempted to disrupt Museveni’s speech at the intercon. He succeeded for a minute before he was kicked out. He was alone. Kenyatta University has thousands of students, please boo Uganda dictator even if it’s from a distance. #FreeStellaNyanzi,” tweeted the former Starehe parliamentary seat aspirant.
“Universities are hallowed grounds of intellectual discourse and rigorous interrogation of thought and policy and process. They are not urinals or picnic grounds for totalitarians and dictators. Let this message reach home and let Africa Rise! #MuseveniAtKU,” he tweeted.
On his part Miguna said that Museveni has no capacity to lecture University students.
“Bravo Kenyatta University patriots for chasing away @KagutaMuseveni today. But the best news is when patriots publicly chase away their despots – Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, @RailaOdinga and @WilliamsRuto – otherwise today’s occurrence would be an act of cowardice,” he tweeted.
The group first claimed that they have been locked out of amphitheater before they chanted slogans in solidarity with Bobi wine.
