All has not been roses and praises for Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni who is touring Kenya and today was scheduled to give a lecture at the prestigious Kenyatta University.
The KU students protested the lecture that was ongoing at the institution’s Amphitheatre by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Friday.
The students chanted songs in praise of Kyadondo East MP Bobi Wine in solidarity to the Ugandan politician.
“This video shows Kenya is not Uganda where dictator Museveni can micromanage people besides limiting their liberty. Kenyatta University students have given him some warnings. Next time we might decide to ban him from stepping into Kenya,” another angry citizen tweeted.
In a video making rounds on social media, police officers are seen trying to keep off the angry students from the place the lecture is happening.
