On screening Leaving Neverland, a documentary which featured victims who accused the late Michael Jackson of sexually abusing them while young, his fans believed that the victims were lying. It ha been believed to be true after Jackson’s sister confessed of being sexually harassed by her father while still a minor. The spirit seem to run in the family.

Michael Jackson’s abusive father Joe preyed upon his 11-year-old daughter with a campaign of sexual abuse, she has claimed. LaToya Jackson, who for many years was estranged from her famous family during her marriage to ‘conman’ Jack Gordon, claimed while Joe Jackson was still alive that he had raped her on a number of occasions when she was just a girl.

In her 1991 memoir Growing Up In The Jackson Family, LaToya alleged that her father would get into her bed while his wife, Katherine Jackson, begged him to let their daughter sleep. “When your father gets out of bed with your mother and gets into bed with his daughter and you hear the mother saying, ‘No, Joe, not tonight. Let her rest. Leave her alone, she’s tired,’ that makes you crazy,” LaToya wrote.

She alleged that older sister Rebbie Jackson moved out of the family home at 16, which is when Joe’s regime of sexual violence against LaToya ramped up. In an interview, LaToya repeated the allegations against her father; “There wasn’t just physical abuse, there was also mental abuse, which is very disturbing, and also sexual abuse.”Asked whether that meant Joe had sexual abused her, LaToya replied: “Yes he did, very badly.

She went on: “It began with me when Rebbie left. You live with this as if you’re doing something wrong and you’re frightened. And you’re embarrassed. I’ve been embarrassed all my life to ever talk about it, to mention it.” Asked whether Joe had also preyed upon his other daughter, Janet Jackson, LaToya said: “I don’t know. She’s never spoken about it. I certainly hope he didn’t.”

Her memoir came out just two years before LaToya blasted mum Katherine for allegedly knowing about Michael’s paedophilia for years. In 1993, LaToya gave a televised interview in which she alleged Katherine had found cheques made out to the parents of “little boys” as early as 1984.

“There were two cheques that I know of that she has shown me and it’s for a substantial amount of money and she was outraged over it,” LaToya claimed. “My mother is very much aware of the children that were there. All the boys that stayed there. She’s the one who always said that Michael, excuse my expression ‘that f****t’.

The singer, now 62, also documented allegations of Michael’s sexually predatory behaviour in the mid-1990s, claiming that she knew her brother had little boys over to stay in his bedroom.
