Laikipia Women’s Representative Cate Waruguru has unleashed a flurry of scathing attacks to Senator James Orengo for planning to impeach DP Ruto.
In a funny speech, Waruguru recalls how she was in class 3 and remembers the Siaya Senator tied in running battles with the police at the University of Nairobi.
And now that she has entered national politics, she has found that Orengo is still undertaking the same shenanigans he did at the university level.
“James Orengo is a lawyer. And he should understand that the ways in which DP Ruto can be impeached lie in the constitution.”
“However, DP Ruto is of sound mind, he is not facing any prison sentence, and he is not on trial in any court for misdemeanor.”
“So I asked one of the politicians in ODM to explain to me what gross misconduct means because there is no way that Orengo and his followers can convince parliament that Ruto is guilty of gross misconduct.”
“We are asking for evidence that Orengo has. Because I know both Speaker Ken Lusaka and Speaker Justin Muturi are sober minds and they are people who cannot be swayed by people who have smoked bhang and don’t understand themselves.”
