Akothee was completely bashed for performing in this costume, with the self appointed moral policemen on social media calling her out for her choice of costume and choreography.
Just like the proverbial phoenix that arises from the ashes of the fire that consumes it, Akothee aka Madam boss rose from the ashes of her critics after her electrifying performance and called onto celebrities and ordinary Kenyans alike to donate to the victims of the drought stricken North of Kenya
Madam boss commandeered truck loads of food plus 10,000 liters of water to the drought affected area of Turkana.
Dubbed, Lets Feed The Starving in Turkana, the songstress kick started the charity drive on Monday, March 18, and kept updating her followers of the progress by the hour.
‘‘Tag all the influencers, celebrities to help us support by sharing this on their walls for their fans to help us feed our people Kenya For Kenyans, we are at KSh 300,000. Its painful to see people dying of hunger, we can do it,” she said on Instagram.
The initiative was backed by countless celebrities who did not only contribute but also share Akothee’s message with their respective fans. The singer’s move came just days after it emerged countless people had lost their loves in Turkana due to hunger.
This act of altruism has begged many on social media to prompt the discsussion that Akothee should run the country as she is doing a better job that most of the Women Reps in the country.
