Uproar over Kenyan media’s failure to highlight feted teacher Tabichi’s win

Local dailies are once again on the spot for missing the mark in front news coverage.

The newspapers have this time been criticised for failing to highlight celebrated teacher Peter Tabichi who on Thursday won the highly coveted Global Teacher Prize award.

Newspapers however took a different twist covering Kenya’s political controversies as main news.

The United Arab Emirates newspapers on the other hand beat us to our own game, covering the Nakuru teacher’s win as main news.
