Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has come out to issue a piece of advice to President Uhuru Kenyatta following his cold war with his deputy Dr William Samoei Ruto.
Citing the time left for Uhuru to end his term, Ahmednasir says President Kenyatta cannot afford to have a slow motion war with his deputy.
He further notes that the head of state cannot also afford to be plotting with ODM leader Raila Odinga all the time.
To deliver on his mandate, Ahmednasir suggests that Uhuru must openly declare war on DP Ruto or declare peace.
He cites that a cold war for four years will not lead him anywhere.
The head of state has been engaging in a cold war with his deputy over the war on corruption.
DP Ruto has openly stated that the war on corruption can’t be won by targeting specific individuals.
Ruto has also openly stated that he is being targeted whereas President kenyatta maintains that no one will be spared in the fight against graft.
