Jubilee party officials are now accusing ODM MP James Orengo of seeking political relevance by attacking deputy president William Ruto.
Orengo over the Weekend said that a motion is being hatched in senate to impeach the Deputy president William Ruto over gross misconduct.
Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut has accused Orengo of insincerity in politics stating that Orengo has reached political menopause and he is just seeking a come back to politics.
“I can’t take Orengo serious,he has just attained political menopause where one becomes unproductive and unattractive,”he said.
He adds “James Orengo comes from a county with one of the most corrupt and incompetent administrations headed by Cornel Rasanga, a non-achiever who leaves Siaya in 2022 worse than he found it. I would first make devolution work in Luoland before thinking about ousting Ruto.”
Mr Orengo was first elected to parliament to represent Ugenya in 1979 before going for exile in 1983 days to elections. He would return to the country in 1990. He was reelected in 1992 to represent Ugenya.
Having lost in 2002, Orengo made it back in 2007 as MP. In 2013 he contested for senatorial seat which he successfully defended in 2017. He has vowed to have Ruto impeached
Orengo has publicly announced plan to succeed Rasanga as Siaya governor 2022.
The DP has been accused by section of politicians from opposition of being corrupt.
Also a section of Mount Kenya politicians have accused Ruto of being corrupt and disrespectful to his boss Uhuru Kenyatta.
