Having fans is a good thing, but hate is predominant aspect in equal measure.

The Instagram and online hate can be confused with real hate as people use the platform to gain likes and cheap fame but real hate in the real world is a whole different thing.

The Celebrity Ambush aired on Ebru TV has been making headlines lately for featuring celebrities who are taken to the streets to meet their fans and haters.

The format of the show is to interact with Kenyans in the streets and have celebrities sneaking to their conversations without the notice of the fans.

The hilarious one yet ‘bitter’ remarks from a critic took Avril by surprise as he says that Avril’s time in music is over and should go home.

“Siku hizi ameisha manze, atulie tu kejani achunge mtoi (Nowadays she’s one, let her relax with the baby at home)”

When asked about her new song dubbed Kitoko, the ‘hater’ said that its quality was not just poor but very poor.

“Hiyo ngoma iko down sana, kwanza visuals ziko nje..production yenyewe iko chini angekuja nimproducie (That song is a poor quality,the visuals and production are extremely poor)”

Avril was surprised by all the hate from the guy and asked him if the producers, Cedo and Saint P are really whack as he said but tried to defen himself.

Is hate only applicable when you are not seeing someone?
