Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has been told to carry his cross alone by the Luo community since alikula pekee yake.
Kidero, who is facing charges of stealing 230m during his time at city hall, was in court on Monday, where he received another blow as the court dismissed his application to be charged separately.
He is charged alongside former Nairobi county secretary Lillian Ndegwa, former chief finance officer Jimmy Mutuku Kiamba among others. Other charges include abuse of office and fraudulent acquisition of public property.
There have been a lot of noise from the Tanga Tanga politicians who claim that the DCI is targeting the Kalenjin community in the fight against corruption.

Last month, during an interview with Jeff Koinange, DPP Noordin Haji revealed a list of the most corrupt tribes in Kenya. Interestingly, Kalenjins came a distant 3rd as Kikuyus and Luos took the first two positions respectively.
Some people wondered where this Mtu Wetu Syndrome always comes from when corrupt individuals from other communities are arrested.
We hope the Tanga Tanga team will not make noise when one of their own is arrested next time.
