Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has said that he is able to floor Deputy President William Ruto in a presidential election without any help.
He was speaking at Wajir County where he had attended a fundraiser hosted by Wajir Women Representative Fatuma Gedi on Saturday.
He seemed to have been tired of the frequent mention of DP Ruto in many debates within the country.
“Mimi nashangaasananawatuwanaongea Ruto… Ruto mimipekeyakenawezamwangusha, mimipekeyake (I’m surprised of people talking about Ruto. I can floor Ruto myself, without help),” Joho started his barrage.
He continued, “Ata Baba hajaingiahapo, mimipekeenawezaonyeshawewevumbisana (Even without Raila’s help, I can show you dust) my friend. Mpaka yeyehaweziamini… yeyeanajuahivyo…ndiomaanahalali (Ruto cannot believe, and he knows it. That’s why he is having sleepless nights ).”
Also in attendance was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, who all spoke against corruption.
