The Kikopey accident snatched a young soul which has left Kenya in tears.
Nakuru-based gospel musician Christonimph Wambui Mburu, famously known as Vivah Musiq was among those who perished in the accident.
The young musician famed for massive hits such as Jipe Moyo died on Friday, March 22, morning after she was involved in a grisly road accident at Kikopey. She was among 22 people who perished after a truck lost control and rammed into a fleet of several vehicles on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway.
Following Vivah’s death, countless people including fellow musicians and fans thronged social media to condole with her family. 11 people who were aboard a 2NK shuttle matatu in which the musician was using died on the spot and police reports confirmed they were seven women and five men.
