When we talk about weed, the common wayin Kenya is to get it rolled up and smoke it. However, Octopizzo has revealed that he is not among the common people.
Kibera’s finest Octopizzo has admitted to consuming marijuana saying that it has no adverse side effects like other legal substances.
Speaking during an interview on Radio Citizen, Mseto East Africa, the rapper said that he takes it in tea but not in Kenya.
The rapper revealed that he takes bhang when he is in Amsterdam and Los Angeles where weed is legal adding that it has many other health benefits.
Octopizzo joined the growing number of people who want the use and growth of bhang legalized in the country.
He called on the government to pass the Marijuana Control Bill which seeks to decriminalize its growth and use in the country.
Octo wants weed to be easily accessible to the public saying that alcohol and cigarettes have much worse side effects compared to weed.
The rapper said that the banned drug should be legalized for its medicinal purposes adding that it will create more jobs for the youth.
“I consume weed because unlike other ‘legal’ substances like alcohol and cigarettes, weed comes with no adverse effects. I don’t smoke, I take it in tea, not in Kenya though. I do it when I am in Amsterdam, Los Angeles.”
“Bhang smoking should be legalized in Kenya because it will not only create job opportunities but also save many lives because of its health benefits,” said Octopizzo during the interview.
