Khloe Kardashian has become the latest celebrity to get a tongue lashing from outspoken US talk show host Wendy Williams, who has called her out for ‘buying her flat tummy’.
The 54-year-old TV host was warning viewers about the ‘dangers’ of celebrity-endorsed slimming products, when she turned her ire upon 34-year-old reality star Khloe.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been advertising ‘flat tummy tea’, which has led to actress Jameela Jamil go on the offensive in the comments of Khloe’s paid Instagram post.
Now Wendy has waded into the argument, telling her studio audience, “I get what Jameela is saying,” as Khloe hadn’t indicated eveything she does to keep her body in shape and had insinuated that the tea had been the main player.
Also, there were concerns that ‘negative side-effects’ had been ‘glossed over’ by Khloe.
Wendy went on the attack, saying: “This is where buyer beware should come into effect. If you’re grown enough to have a credit card to buy tummy flattener, then you’re grown enough to understand that there’s nothing natural about Khloe, OK.”
The talk show host continued: “All of the Kardashians drink this tea, it just so happens Khloe is in the middle of this.
“It’s implied that they all have the bodies because of this tea, they are who they are, they are all about the body by any means necessary.”
Jamil has got a name for being outspoken on social media and she went after Khloe, branding her ‘irresponsible’
Commenting on Khloe’s Instagram post which was promoting the controversial tea, Jamil wrote: “If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product… And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy.”
Jamil was not finished there, as she then commented with a list of possible side effects before turning her anger on Khloe once again.
She wrote: “Possible Flat Tummy Tea side effects are cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea, and dehydration.
“It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance. That’s the media fault.
“But now please don’t put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this.”
Khloe is yet to respond to Jamil or Wendy and it is not known if she is trying to relax with a cup of tea while trying to ignore the criticism.
