A Woman was on Thursday, arraigned in court for ferrying school children in a car boot.
Ms Monica Atieno appeared in Nanyuki court on 21st March after a public outcry on her misconduct.
The social media era is now taking over everything from gorvernance to reporting crimes.
” This case has been brought to our attention,appropriate action will be taken.Keep it here for updates on action taken,” NTSA ha earlier stated.
Monica who happens to be the driver and the owner of the car was fined Ksh 26,000.
” Update on vehicle Registration Number KBF383W. Ms.Monica Atieno Ocholla,owner who is also driver of the vehicle caught ferrying school children in the boot of her vehicle was arraigned in court (Nanyuki) on ( 21/03/19) & fined Kshs.26,000,” NTSA confirmed.
The pupils were stuffed in the back of the car and carrying bags.
