Paul Karanja:My wife had a premonition before she perished in the Ethiopian crash.

Paul Karanja says his wife had a premonition before she perished in the Ethiopian crash.

Karanja lost his wife Caroline Quinns, their three children and his mother-in-law in the tragedy.

During a memorial service at his home in Kiamaina, the heartbroken man said her wife told him of a bad dream a few days before they boarded the earoplane and perished.

“Two weeks before the tragedy, Quinns had told me of her several dreams that something bad was about to happen to me. She [Caroline] had experienced disturbing nightmares a few days to the crash. Little did we know that it would be an enduring pain for the rest of my life,” he said in his tribute.

A soft-spoken Karanja narrated of their 13-year marriage journey and the pain of imagining life without his darling wife and bubbly children.

“The death of my three children means more than the loss of three precious lives. To me, it represents the loss of future experiences and future hopes,” he said.

He adds: “My world, my life is changed forever; I will forever feel the pain and anguish. I wish I would hear them tell me things they want I buy for them.”
