Nairobi Governor exposes county officials linked to bribery

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has exposed the names behind county officials that were yesterday arrested for allegedly taking bribes.

The Governor says that although every suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law he felt that it was important to notify the public on the action taken against any county officer who asks for bribes from hardworking Nairobians. 

The Governor has asked Kenyans to report all corruption related case and also encouraged them to record videos to expose the corrupt officials.

He also pledged a reward of of kshs 200,000/= to any member of the public who will assist with information leading to the dismantling and arrest of the cartels.

We know very well that every suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law but again its important to notify the public on the action taken against any county officer who asks for bribes from hardworking Nairobians. 
The following are our officers who were arrested by eacc detectives receiving bribes from hardworking Nairobians in Mowlem yesterday.

Report all cases related to corruption by texting to 0722886600, 0738886600 or 0739555555 or call 0730997000 or 0709781000. You can also send recorded clips of any c
ounty officer asking for bribes to the same numbers. 
I’m also offering a reward of kshs 200,000/= to any member of the public who will assist with information leading to the dismantling and arrest of the cartels at the land rates department where there has been a conspiracy to deny the county revenue by tampering with land rates records at a fee. The same applies to the cash office where one coop bank banking slip receipt is used to issue multiple licenses to the public.
