Nairobi City County has today issued a warning to all the hospitals and residents concerning a cholera outbreak.
The County has today issued a statement to confirm that Nairobi is experiencing a wave of cholera outbreak which was confirmed yesterday 20th March 2019.
In this regard,all referral hospitals have been requested to reactivate their cholera treatment units to prevent the spread of the disease.
All sub counties have also been cautioned to be alert and treat all suspected cases of cholera as cholera cases.
The Nairobi County has also urged the sub counties to reactivate their sub county response teams in the wake of the outbreak.
