Blow for Blow, Jab for Jab, Cross for Cross! Why Zarika will bring down Nairobi

Home girl titleholder Fatuma ‘Iron’ Fist Zarika and Zambian challenger Catherine Phiri promised fans a ring battle for the legend during their World Boxing Council (WBC) women Super bantamweight title bout that will be the main event of Nairobi Fight Night 2 on Saturday.

The Kenyan first won the title after she dethroned the then-defending champion Alicia Ashley of Jamaica on October 1, 2016, in a shock victory in New York.

This will be the second meeting between Zarika and Phiri who gave boxing fans worldwide the most brutal of fights on December 2, 2017 at the Carnivore Grounds where the Kenyan prevailed on unanimous point decision after she scored 97-92, 98-91 and 99-92 from the three international judges who presided over the fight.
