If Only Man United Could Make These Signings, Next Season Will Be a Year For Them, Exclaims Ferdinand

Manchester United Legend has expressed his concerns over the delay to announce Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the permanent manager.

For that reason, Ferdinand has issued United Chief Ed Woodward a critical message over United’s plan to sign new players this summer.

United have two big issues to deal with this summer and of course one is the fate of Solskjaer.

Ed Woodward has remained coy over the current manager’s fate after he took over from Jose Mourinho.

But the issue is not only the manager’s situation, United also needs to look for some better players to fill in the gaps they’ve had over this ending season.

Though Ferdinand insists that retaining Solskjaer is the only way to gain the club’s identity.

“We have tried different managers, tried different philosophies and finally we have gone back to what worked in the past and what will work in the future,” Ferdinand told the Irish Independent .

“I just hope the club’s owners realise that the way they have run the club and the managerial changes they have made at a rapid rate is not how United works. You need people in charge of the team that understand this club and that is what we have got now.

“Manchester United is not like every other club and people who don’t understand that will fail when they go there. The pictures are on the walls to remind you of United’s history and in the last few years, the club has moved away from what makes it special.”

United Legend also proposes that some players are needed to steer in the squad for a much better performance.

“Every player who walks through the door at United needs to have a certain DNA and too many have been signed by the club in recent years that lack those qualities,” Ferdinand added. “It’s not just talent, it’s much more than that.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was made United caretaker manager on 19th December 2018 after the sacking of Jose Mourinho whose reign saw United succumb to many loses and risking the chance of top-four finish.
