Homa Bay househelp’s son kidnappers demand Ksh 15M

Don’t some people have hearts? Well, kidnappers in Homa Bay County, who are believed to have kidnapped a son of a house help are now up in demand of a Ksh 15 million ransom.

Lilian Achieng claims that her son, Jack Ochieng was kidnapped on March 17, 2019, by unknown people within Rodi Kopany market.

Achieng works for Ken Kowuo, a teacher and his wife Caroline Sang, who works for Homa Bay County assembly as a Principal Officer.

The couple suspects that the kidnappers could have been targeting their daughter but mistakenly kidnapped their house help’s son.

This is because they had been previously informed that a certain group of people were targeting their daughter.

“What has our house help done to deserve the punishment? We have a strong feeling that our daughter was the one being targeted,” questioned Kowuo.

The kidnapper’s demanded Ksh15 million, which should be paid via mobile phone cash transfer, failure to which they will kill the child.

Reports by Daily Nation indicate the single mother realised her son had been abducted when unknown people called her on Monday to demand a ransom.
