In 2018, a man complained of developing a six-hour-long hard on after drinking Power Natural High Energy Drink SX.

According to BBC, results presented by both Zambia and South Africa confirmed the drink contained Sildenafil Citrate which is an active ingredient in viagra.

“Results from both Zimbabwe and South Africa correlated with those obtained from the Foods and Drugs Laboratory that indicated a positive presence of Sildenafil Citrate,” said a statement released by Zambia to Reuters.

In January 2019, the company manager, Vikas Kapoor, rubbished claims the drink contained viagra. In 2018, a Ugandan man claimed he suffered from profuse sweating after downing the energy drink.

It was earlier reported the Ugandan National Drug Authority tested for the presence of viagra in the drink and the results were positive. Later, authorities said investigations were to be launched to determine whether the drink met the required standards.

The drink was temporarily banned in Zambia.
