Rapper Cardi B has landed her first feature film role and will make her on-screen debut opposite Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming avenging stripper flick Hustlers.
Hustlers centers around a ‘crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.’ It was inspired by a popular 2016 New York Magazine article and based on a true story.
The strippers from the Manhattan club Scores get back at their rich, abusive clients by racking up charges on their credit cards after they’ve passed out. The STX produced movie will collaborate with Jennifer Lopez as an actor and producer after the success of Second Act.
Production on Hustlers, which is also billed as The Hustlers at Scores, slated to begin in just a few days. The Invasion of Privacy rapper will play the character Serena who is one of Lopez’s character’s best friends who later becomes her close accomplice in the plot against their former clients.
