National Assembly Agrees To Magoha’s Appointment

Education Educationist and the outgoing Kenya National Examinations Council chairman George Magoha is the new Education cabinet secretary. The Parliamentary Committee on Appointments on Tuesday, March 19, gave nod to Magoha’s nomination following rigorous vetting which saw him defend his suitability for the demanding job on Friday, March 15.

National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi has submitted House committee vetting report to be considered for recommendations by the House on Wednesday, March 20.

While appearing before the committe, Magoha told members he was the right man to take over from his predecessor Amina Mohamed adding his midas touch could turn anything into gold.
