The magical Kenya open ended in style with Mafikizolo doing their thing despite previous complaints. The event saw a big number of golf lovers attend in support of local players.
On Friday night the fans were treated to a night of throwback music by MoTown in Nairobi, with performances from June Gachui and Kaz Lucas.
Headliners of the event were South Africa’s Mafikizolo, who hit the stage on Saturday night.
Hart-the-band rocked the stage with reggae themed songs and had Ben Soul, who was their guitarist but is now a singer signed to Sauti Sol’s label Sol Generation, perform his new hit song Lucy.
When it was time for Mafikizolo to get to stage, they were welcomed with screams from fans, and this being their fifth time in Kenya, their performance was a moment fans wished to relive.
They entertained the crowd with their hit songs Ndihamba Nawe, Happy and Tcheletefeaturing Nigerian star Davido. They later went to Kiza Lounge for the after party.
