Kenya’s Sauti Sol has today bagged a double award for their win in the Uganda’s Hipipo Awards.
Sauti Sol have been awarded as the best African Music Group. A win that is indeed deserving for the legacy and the legendary music that they have become popular for.
The group has also been serving the best music for years and their group has stood firm throughout the music seasons.
Sauti Sol has grown to be not just the African sensation but International as well.
The Music group were also awarded under the category of Song of The Year Kenya in their collabo with Nyashinski; Short N Sweet
In the Hipipo awards, Sauti Sol were contesting for this award of
best African Music Group against the following artists;
Die Antwoord (South Africa)
Mafikizolo (South Africa)
Toofan(Togo)
R2bees (Ghana)
Navy Kenzo (Tanzania)
The awarding ceremony was held yesterday, 16th March at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
