Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru continues to draw criticisms from a number of Kenyans following her outbursts and bitter exchange of words with a Police officer.
The latest to join in the criticisms parade is Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua. Karua has referred to Waruguru as a great shame following her actions.
A Video doing rounds in the social media show Waruguru hurling insults at a police officer who arrested her for inciting the public.
Ms Waruguru is heard telling the police officer who is of Somali descent to stop intimidating people who are doing their own business and further tells him to go and arrest bandits and terrorists.
“Stop intimidating young guys doing their business, are they criminals, get yourself busy doing some meaningful work arrest bandits, criminals,” she says.
As if that is not enough, she says “is this Kismayu that they are here planning how to attack people? It is not.”
The officer later salutes at her and leaves her shouting at him. Ms Waruguru was later arrested.
