End of the road as Killer AP finally arrested while sneaking to Uganda

Sometimes running away from law’s hand becomes hard. An Administration Police (AP) officer who shot his wife dead on Thursday has been on the run for quite good number of days, But could he run forever? Earlier today, Daily Active Kenya had reported that the AP had been traced to Malaba border via his phone signal. The officer has finally been arrested.

Citizen TV reports that Patrick Apala was nabbed at the Kenya-Busia border on Saturday afternoon.

Western Regional Commander Rashid Yakub revealed that the AP officer was caught while trying to sneak into Uganda.

Apala, who was based at Navakholo Police Station, had been on the run after killing his 24-year-old lover Christine Maonga at their Duka Moja home

The couple reportedly quarreled before the AP officer shot the woman three times.

Maonga was a teacher at Navakholo Secondary School
