Sadly news has been received that three people were on Friday killed in a road accident on the Kisumu-Kakamega road.
The accident occurred after a truck lost control and rammed into a tuktuk killing two of the three occupants.
A woman and her child died instantly at the Mamboleo junction.
Eye witnesses says the lorry headed to Kisumu from Kakamega killed a motorbike rider before hitting the tuktuk.
The driver of the tuktuk and the husband to the deceased woman suffered injuries.
The bodies of the three have been taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
