Too hot to handle;Gareth Bale’s opens up on why his client differ with Zidane

Following the return of Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid all eyes seem to have been directed to Wales’ Gareth Bale who has had the hardest of his season as though that is not is not enough, it is said that the two don’t meet eye to eye.

on the same matter, Gareth Bale’s agent has opened up on the Welshman’s feud with Zinedine Zidane.

Bale’s future is the source of much speculation again following Zidane’s return to Real Madrid .

Bale looked to be on his way out of the Bernabeu last summer after criticising Zidane after being left on the bench for the Champions League final.

It was Zidane who made way but Bale has endured another frustrating campaign as he continues to struggle to win over his doubters.

Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett insists he was “fine” about Zidane’s return before discussing their breakdown in relationship last season.

“Gareth wanted to play one way and Zidane wanted him to play another,” Barnett told BBC’s Football Daily podcast.

“Over the period of time it just got worse.”

Barnett suggested Bale has no immediate plans to leave the Bernabeu and will wait to see what the future holds under the returning Frenchman.

“He wants to play all his career for Real Madrid. If it doesn’t work out, we will talk again,” Barnett added.

“He is very happy. He will talk with Zinedine Zidane and we will go from there.”If you let him play how he wants to play, and have a run of games, he can be right up there.”

Barnett did suggest Bale is unfairly treated by Real fans after being jeered at the Bernabeu recently.

The agent added: “He doesn’t understand what he has got to do. Look at his record and what he has won. Look how he has played.

“In years to come, these people that are booing him will be watching his goals and thinking ‘what a player’.

“He is the best export that has ever left Britain to play abroad and they don’t stop knocking him.”
