Solksjaer Offers Paul Scholes ‘Juicy’ United Job He Just Can’t Resist!

PAUL SCHOLES HAS been invited back to Manchester United after quitting Oldham.

Scholes walked out of his job at Boundary Park after just 31 days and seven games citing interference from above in what he was trying to do.

Now his old United team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened the door at the Carrington Training Ground to keep his eye in.

Solskjaer said: “He’s invited here if he wants to come and have a little chat about it,we’ve texted and it didn’t work out, that’s just management.”

Scholes worked briefly as a coach at United back in 2014 during Ryan Giggs’ four games in charge following the axing of David Moyes.

He also coached the under-23 team when Sir Alex Ferguson was still at the helm having retired from playing in August 2011.

It was during that time that he convinced himself he was good enough to make a return which he did in January 2012.

Meanwhile Solskjaer insists United have trophies in their eyes as they reach the business end of the season.

This was always the traditional time under Sir Alex when Solskjaer was a player that the Red Devils shifted up the gears on their way to glory – and that is what the Norwegian is expecting from this side too.

They have an FA Cup quarter-final away to Wolves tomorrow and a last eight tie in the Champions League.
