Presidents Kenyatta and Macron Fail Basic Traffic Safety Test

France President Emmanuel Macron’s Visit to Kenya saw him alongside Kenyan President unveil a Peugeot 3008 assembled in Kenya.

After the glamorous unveiling ceremony, President Kenyatta invited Macron to have a ride with him as the two took a road test of the new Vehicle around statehouse.

The two heads of state however failed a simple road safety test, They failed to buckle up.

They did not put on their Safety Belts.

The Peugeot 3008 is one of the car models locally assembled in Kenya by French vehicle manufacturer, PSA Groupe.

Traffic safety experts advise motorists to “always wear a safety belt” in even for short journeys.
