Beign the first year in a decade that there hasn’t been a semi-final that hasn’t featured Bayern Munich or Real Madrid, Manchester united clash against Barcelona will now be the real deal.

Manchester United face a tough test after being drawn against Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final draw on Friday.
Liverpool were the final side to book their place in the hat after Wednesday’s 3-1 win at Bayern Munich. They joined their league rivals Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham who got the better of Paris Saint-Germain, Schalke and Borussia Dortmund.
Also in the draw are Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax and Porto. There are no representatives from Germany.
Manchester City and Manchester United could not play at home on the same night following a decision made by the relevant local authorities. In the event both clubs be drawn at home in the same week, the team with the lower priority – in this case Manchester United because Manchester City won the Premier League – will be reversed in accordance with the UEFA Club Competitions Committee principles.
Any potential reversal for the semi-finals, for the same reason, will be confirmed after the quarter-finals.
