Former Chelsea player Jason Cundy has provided an over-the-top reaction to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Black Panther goal celebration against Rennes in their 3-0 Europa League win.
The Arsenal striker bagged two goals as the Gunners overturned a 3-1 first leg loss to go through 4-3 on away goals, before drawing Napoli in the quarter-finals.
Aubameyang celebrated his goal by producing a mask from inside a bag placed behind an advertisement board. Pretty harmless fun you would think, right?
Well not according to Cundy, who thinks Aubameyang “looked like something out of Only Fools and Horses”.
“Maybe I’m out of touch with modern day footballers,” Cundy told talkSPORT.
“What would annoy me is the game’s not over if they need another goal to take it to extra time.
“The first thing he does he goes looking behind the advertising boards looking for a mask.
“Behave yourself, grow up man. This is a serious competition. Looking for a mask. He looked like something out of Only Fools and Horses.
“Come on, what a pathetic thing to do.”
