Raila is a wolf in a sheep’s clothing, Says Governor Waititu

It has been one year since President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga agreed to work together as a team for the good of the country sealing their union with a handshake.

Well as the country celebrated the one year of Kenyatta and Raila bromance some legislators are not feeling it.

Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has now come out claiming that the handshake between Uhuru and Raila is not genuine especially the AU leader.

According to Governor Waititu Raila is here to destroy the union the ruling party Jubilee has had for his sake.

In his statement he sited that Raila is here to divide Jubilee party members so that he has a smooth ride to 2022 and he will be back into his old self.

The governor added that Odinga should not be lecturing them on matters corruption and they should not sit down and listen to him like a bishop.

“We will not allow him to mislead us…we know him,” said Waititu.

However Waititu’s remarks are contrary to former Prime minister’s way of viewing the handshake.

According to odinga the handshake was purely meant to bring Kenyans together and not to create new alliances.

Waititu happens to be Deputy William Ruto’s strong ally in the Central region and him and other allies believe that Raila is out here to block Ruto;s road to poresidency come 2022.

Last week, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen stated that Odinga’s intentions were suspect and it is clear that he is eyeing the 2022 Presidential race.

“Why is Raila now engaging in political activities at the expense of bringing Kenyans together for the sake of unity and development? Why is it that his brigade is just talking about him in the race in 2022?
