ODM Leader Hon. Raila Odinga is now facing new attacks this time from outspoken Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu.

During his highly charged address in Kiambu, the governor was blunt in his criticism of the former Prime Minister.

Waititu stated that Raila used the famous handshake with President Uhuru to worm his way into the Jubilee camp in order to bring about disharmony.

“He has come to wreck the Jubilee Party ahead of the 2022 General Election. His plan is to discredit the party and President Uhuru Kenyatta in the run-up to the polls and we as Jubilee members will be left looking like fools after destroying the good relationships we had,” he claimed.

The Kiambu governor went on to question Raila’s alleged authority in the corruption debate that has dominated the country.

“All of us are now keenly listening to him castigate corruption as if he were a bishop,” Governor Waititu remarked.

In the video, he accuses the ODM party leader of being responsible for the looting of Ksh3.5 billion in the Kazi Kwa Vijana fund scandal while serving as prime minister.

In addition, the Kiambu governor claimed that Raila was the chief architect in duping innocent Kenyans in the sugar molasses saga of 1996.

“Why are we listening to him yet we all know he is a crook? We won’t accept as Jubilee to be taken to the forest by an individual whose behaviour we all know,” the Kiambu governor retorted.

Governor Waititu’s latest scathing attack on Raila follows similar remarks made recently by various rift valley politicians allied to the DP, calling for President Uhuru to openly declare his falling out with his deputy and his support for Raila in the 2022 General Election.
