In September murder most foul caught the public’s attention, Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe and her fiancé Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu found themselves roped in as the main suspects
Monica Kimani, 28, a businesswoman, was found dead in a bathtub with her neck slit ear to ear at her Lamuria Gardens Apartment in Kilimani, Off Dennis Pritt Road on September 20.
Jacque Maribe’s long outstanding support system leader in her tight friends circle took to social media to remind the public that republic vs Jowie Irungu and Jacque Maribe resumes today.
He went on to reveal that 90% of all witness statements show no single witness places Maribe at the murder scene or even mentions her adversely.
Unmoved public were quick to remind him he is not the law and that he should let case proceed on its own to expose the real truth before rubbing the Jacque is innocent talks on their faces.
Others reminded him of president Uhuru Kenyatta’s remarks on corrupt officials when he told those with any accusations should confidently head to the DCI residence in Karura and report the criminals alleged.
Maribe’s fiancé, Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu,is the first accused in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
She was released on a cash bail of Sh 1 million or a bond of Sh 2 million,Jowie however was denied bail and has been in custody ever since.
