Not for sale! Borussia Dortmund come clean over Jadon Sancho transfer speculations to Old Trafford

Jadon Sancho has been the kid that United want to see play together with the other players at Trafford, he has been on form this season but Manchester United will have to poach somewhere

Borussia Dortmund have told Manchester United to forget about signing Jadon Sancho this summer. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made the England starlet his No.1 transfer target.

Mirror Football understands United are ready to stump up the biggest transfer fee ever paid by a Premier League club this summer, amid rival interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

And Solskjaer is ready to use money that had been set aside for a new central defender to land the 18-year-old.Sancho has scored nine goals and registered 12 assists for BVB this term and has also made his senior England debut.

His form this season has seen the ex-Manchester City youngster who moved to Germany in an £8million deal in 2017 preferred by coach Lucien Favre to Chelsea ’s £58million summer signing Christian Pulisic.

Dortmund’s transfer model means that if Sancho continues on his current trajectory, it is only a matter of time before he leaves the Westfalenstadion.

But Dortmund are keen to keep him for at least one more season, with sporting director Michael Zorc warning that they have no intention of selling.

“I’m far from putting a price tag on Jadon,” said Zorc. “He will certainly not play in Dortmund until the end of his career. That is also part of the truth.

“But I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be difficult right now.”Jadon will play at Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.”

BVB chiefs believe that Sancho spending another 12 months in Germany will be of benefit both to himself and to Dortmund.

Having cashed in on Pulisic, the German side are in the market for another wide player, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt – a long-time target for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp – being targeted as his replacement.

Sancho’s contract in Germany runs until 2022.
