We are not sure whether the dust in the Markle house has settled, but one thing for sure is the Meghan wants her father to visits her in the UK after the birth of her child.
An unnamed pal claims the Duchess of Sussex plans to extend an olive branch to her family after a very public feud which has kept them in the limelight.
Last month her father Thomas released sections of a private letter which she wrote to him, and step-sister Samantha has repeatedly criticized her in the media.
But Meghan, is said to be desperate to bury the hatchet, having been left ‘baffled’ by the constant attacks on her.
“Meghan hopes and prays that the baby will bring her family back together.”
And the friend said she is hopeful that her family will use their fame to “make a difference rather than criticise her”.
Samantha recently said Meghan “doesn’t have a heart” in an explosive new documentary.
Channel 5 broadcast the first interview with Samantha since the bombshell revelation of Meghan’s letter to their father Thomas.
‘Meghan and the Markles: A Family at War’ explored why none of the Duchess of Sussex’s relatives, aside from her mother, were present at her wedding to Prince Harry .
Samantha said: “She doesn’t have a heart or she would have been doing everything she could to make him comfortable and reciprocate and be loving and gracious and make sure he’s comfortable in his old age.
“So broken heart? No, his heart is broken. She can’t turn herself into the victim here.”
Thomas Snr was not present at the wedding amid a staged photo scandal.
But he has given repeated media interviews, and disclosed the contents of a letter Meghan sent him, in which she said he had “broken her heart into a million pieces”.
Meghan also hit back at her dad for attacking Prince Harry in the media.
Recently Samantha hit out at Meghan for not visiting her family while she was in New York for a lavish baby shower.
