Governor Sonko blasts leaders over inciteful behaviour

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has blasted MP’s for being desperate to get handcheques and inciting the people of Kenya.

Sonko said that the politics of handcheques is an outdated behavior and leaders need to wake up and challenge themselves to be of service to Kenyans.

He also called upon all leaders to respect H.E the President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, and in the spirit of the handshake, RT Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.

The Nairobi Governor said that it is uncalled for to bad mouth the current leadership knowing very well of the history of violence that erupted as a result of politics back in 2007.

Sonko added that Kenya will not go back to tribal politics which leads to division and hatred among fellow Kenyans.

He also maintained that if at all some leaders cannot respect the President then they should at least respect the office of the presidency.

He also addressed the issue of 2022 politics stating that leaders should now focus on service delivery instead of the 2022 politics.

Sonko reiterated that as the Nairobi Governor, he will not seat down and watch politicians divide Kenyans.
