Manchester United have extended Andreas Pereira’s contract to 2020

Manchester united have decided to extend Pereira contract to by a further 12 months after benefitting from the clubs massive injuries and also playing a key role in United’s stunning Champions League last-16 second-leg comeback against Paris Saint-Germain last Wednesday.

Brazilian Pereira, 23, has made the breakthrough into United’s first-team squad this season after spells on loan with Granada and Valencia.United can now make a decision on Pereira’s future this summer knowing they can still get a fee if he is sold.

Solskjaer, familiar with Pereira from his spell as United’s reserve team manager, has reinstated the Brazil international to his preferred advanced midfield role.

Earlier in the season, Jose Mourinho, United’s former manager, had deployed Pereira in a holding role.
